VPCS’ Leadership Team

  • VPCS Founder Rick Wittwer is a leader in the compliance, credit, collections, debt purchasing and account servicing industries. He formerly served as the Executive Vice-President at Washington Mutual where he managed credit and collection risk-related functions for a $26 billion portfolio with over 1,500 representatives. In addition to earning a Six Sigma Black Belt, his span of control included loss forecasting, risk strategy, and domestic and international collections. Previously, Rick was President of First Select (a Providian Financial Company), a top 3 debt purchasing company, where he was responsible for the management of a $10 billion portfolio and a $100 million annual acquisition budget. Rick is the Managing Partner of VPCS and manages daily activities of the business.
  • VPCS Director of Compliance Michael Bousquet is a leader in the financial services with expertise in servicing, operations and compliance at large servicing companies as well as large financial institutions. At a large servicing company, Michael was director of operations and handled a staff of 300 individuals. Previous experience included senior management roles at GE Capital and Adelphia. Michael is a Quality Black Belt/ Green Belt and is Six Sigma certified.
